Civil society organisation, Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders (CACOL) wants Patience Jonathan to the source of her income to build the N10b hotel and the
$20m worth of money in her alleged accounts.
Patience inaugurated the hotel, Aridolf Resort Wellness and Spa, Yenagoa, in April 2015, just a month before the end of her husband’s tenure. Meanwhile,
a report also compared the hotel—which has imported state-of-the-art furniture—to the level of other luxury hotels in developed countries.
CACOL, who is adamant for the wife of the former president to share how she got her funds was quick to observe, through a statement that Patience was only
a Permanent Secretary in Bayelsa State at a time. The statement released by the group’s acting Media Officer, Abiodun Rabiu, quoted the Executive Chairman
