President Muhammadu Buhari has asked the United Nations to put pressure on western countries to return Nigeria’s stolen funds kept in their banks.
Buhari said this while speaking at the high-level meeting of the UN General Assembly to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Declaration on the Right
to Development.
According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, the President said when developing nations were deprived of such
funds, it would become difficult for them to meet their needs.
