The Federal Government on Wednesday filed two separate sets of charges before the Code of Conduct Tribunal against a Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Sylvester Ngwuta and a judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Adeniyi Ademola.
The Special Adviser to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation on Media and Publicity, Mr. Salihu Isah, who disclosed this in a statement, said the top judicial officials were found to have contravened various provisions of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act.
Isah said the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice had subsequently filed an application before the CCT requesting dates for the arraignment of the two judges.
