I do not believe that there should be a special court for anti-graft cases.
We already have sufficient categories of courts that can handle graft matters. Instead of having special courts for corruption cases, there is nothing wrong in having certain judges as anti-graft judges. By this, I mean judges that will be hearing corruption cases to take away the issue of bureaucracy.
Some judges should be designated to hear corruption cases. In any event, if you have special courts for graft matters, are you going to have special people there? The current structure is capable of handling such matters. It is just for the judges handling these matters to sit up. For example, we have judges who handle election petitions; there are no special courts for them. There is nothing wrong with what we have now. Let us continue with it. Let the government ensure that the courts are well funded, the judges will deliver.
