The Lagos State Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Muslim Folami, has appealed to residents of the state to stop street trading.
He urged them to rather rent shops where they can display their wares.
Folami, who spoke on Thursday during an inspection tour of the Oyingbo ultra-modern market, explained that street trading was the major cause of gridlock in the area and along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.
