The Independent National Electoral Commission has inaugurated the Election Project Plan Committee entrusted with the responsibility of planning the 2019 general elections.
INEC’s National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Adedeji Soyebi, said in a statement on Thursday the 16-man committee had Prof. Okechukwu Ibeanu, a National Commissioner as Chairman and the commission’s Director, Planning and Monitoring, Mr. Ndeche Okechukwu, as Secretary.
Soyebi quoted the Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmud Yakubu, as having tasked the committee to ensure that the 2019 elections are better than the ones before them.
