The report of a ministerial probe committee on the investigation of petitions against the management of Yaba College of Technology, Lagos has blamed the school’s former Governing Council and rector for the institution’s crisis, Saturday PUNCH can confirm.
According to the report exclusively obtained by Saturday PUNCH, the six-man ad hoc committee that investigated the petitions faulted the former Governing Council of the school headed by Ebenezer Babatope for failing to “provide good leadership and guidance for the management of the college.”
It also blamed the school’s rector, Dr. Kudirat Ladipo, for not carrying her staff members along and claiming ignorance on some matters involving management of funds, stressing that the buck stops at her table as the head of the school.
