Another fire outbreak has been reported in Lagos state, this time at the Jakande plank market which is just behind the Community Health Centre in Ketu.
According to sources, the incident stared after a prepaid metre sparked and caught fire at about 4am.
The fire gutted many houses on the street in the process and continued to raze more properties and valuables at the plank market.
Naij.com learnt that properties destroyed by the inferno were worth millions of naira. However, fire service men have arrived at the scene to put out the fire as at the time of filing this report.

This comes just a week after a similar incident occured at the Samsung Digital Centre on Allen road, Ikeja, Lagos state.
According to sources, the fire started from the company’s service centre.
