Again, objections stall Amosu’s N22.8bn fraud case

The Federal High Court in Lagos has again adjourned till May 1, 2017 the case of a former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu, and 10 others, who are being tried for an alleged fraud of N22.8bn.

The defendants were arraigned on June 26, 2016.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has only called two witnesses nine months after the case started.

The hearing in the case was again stalled on Thursday due to the objection by the defence lawyers to the admissibility of some documents sought to be tendered by the EFCC.
