Anti-graft war: Presidency tackles Umar

The Presidency on Monday faulted a statement credited to a former Military Governor of Kaduna State, Colonel Abubakar Umar (retd.), in which he accused the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government of being unfair in the war against corruption.

The Presidency’s position was contained in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.

Shehu said the present administration was familiar with the barrage of verbal attacks that had trailed the administration’s determined war against corruption.
