Bribery charges: A’Court rules on Rickey Tarfa’s appeal

The Lagos Division of the Court of Appeal on Thursday heard and reserved judgment on the appeal filed by embattled Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr. Rickey Tarfa, challenging the bribery charges filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The appellate court panel, presided over by Justice Mohammed Garba, equally heard and reserved judgment on Tarfa’s appeal against the charges of obstruction and perversion of the justice also pressed against him by the EFCC.

The court on Thursday entertained arguments from both Tarfa’s lawyer, Mr. Abiodun Owonikoko (SAN), and the EFCC counsel, Mr. Rotimi Oyedepo.
