Buhari must not die – CACOL

The Centre for Anti-Corruption and Open Leadership, (CACOL) has said that President Muhammadu Buhari must not die and warned those peddling rumours on the death, health condition and poisoning of President Muhammadu Buhari to desist as their action was capable of causing national disaster that the country might not survive.

The Executive Director of the institute, Debo Adeniran while responding to enquiries from Nigerian NewsDirect described the antics of rumour-mongers and political shenanigans as dislike for Buhari’s non-selfish posture to power.

“Buhari has never been selfish with power. As military head of state, he allowed Maj Gen Tunde Idiagbon so much latitude to play major roles in the regime that people hardly attributed any achievement to him; he didn’t allow that to bother him. It’s the same way he had delegated functions to his present Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo leaving no vacuum. PMB’s detractors don’t like that arrangement,” Adeniran said.
