CACOL COMMENDS THE EFCC AND THE NJC’s DECISION NOT TO SPARE JUDGES AND LAWYERS ERRING ON THE SIDE OF CORRUPTION

The reported step to be taken by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to prosecute the disgraced retired Judge, Mohammed Yunusa over the bribery scandal involving the infamous Rickey Tarfa, SAN, and the pronouncement of the Chief Justice of Nigeria that there will be no more dismissal of corruption cases without trail for high profile citizens has received the accolades of the Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders, CACOL.
Speaking through its Executive Chairman, Mr. Debo Adeniran, the Coalition said the development was a welcomed one and one which correlate with its position that the Nigerian Judiciary was not impervious to corruption contrary to what the public is being led to believe.
