As scarcity of fuel continues in Kano, the Department of Petroleum Resources on Saturday sealed off nine filling stations.
This was just as the agency intercepted 225,000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit valued at over N32m, which was being diverted to an unknown destination.
The Kano Head of Operations, DPR, Paul Jehzi, made the disclosure to newsmen, while inspecting the impounded petroleum tankers at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation depot, Kano.
According to him, the success was recorded following the new strategy adopted by the agency by focusing more attention on the NNPC depot.
