Malabu: Court adjourns ruling on OPL 245 forfeiture order

A Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday adjourned till Friday a ruling on whether or not to lift the order of temporary forfeiture on Oil Prospecting Licence 245.

The ruling was scheduled to be delivered on Monday but was stalled by an application by Malabu Oil and Gas Limited.

The court had on February 27 taken arguments on the applications by the Nigerian Agip Exploration Limited and Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Ltd, asking the court to set aside its orders on January 26, 2017 for the temporary forfeiture of OPL 245.
