Methodists hail Buhari’s anti-graft war, pray for President’s recovery

The Metropolitan Diocese of Ikeja, Methodist Church of Nigeria, says it is satisfied with the manner in which President Muhammadu Buhari is fighting the anti-corruption war, urging him to remain unwavering and focused in the fight.

The church, while praying for the quick recovery of the ailing President, who is currently in London, the United Kingdom on medical vacation, however, urged other arms of government to join him in the anti-corruption war.

Noting that corruption had eaten deep into the nation’s fabric, the church argued that no arm of government should be a stumbling block to efforts being made to eliminate the scourge.
