A former Minister of Aviation, Senator Stella Oduah, was subjected to eight hours of interrogation at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Abuja on Monday.
Our correspondent reported that Oduah, who had refused to honour the EFCC invitations for nearly three years, arrived at the office of the anti-graft agency around 11am and answered several questions until 7pm.
Oduah, who currently represents the Anambra-North Senatorial District in the Senate, was accused of diverting billions of naira when she was a minister under the Goodluck Jonathan administration.
The spokesman for the EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, who confirmed that Oduah was interrogated by the commission, said she would face a fresh round of questions on Tuesday.
