Ngilari’s release: Sagay demands prosecution of prison officers

The Nigeria Prisons Service has grilled senior officers for their role in the release of convicted ex-governor of Adamawa State, Mr. Bala Ngilari.

But the Chairman, Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN), told our correspondent that the Federal Government must ensure that all those involved in Ngilari’s controversial release were prosecuted.

Sagay said the culpable officers must be quickly dismissed and then arraigned in court for fraud and conspiracy.
